We’re excited to announce that Crossley Street Doctors Surgery is now a ParkRun Practice!
What is ParkRun?
ParkRun, a free, weekly 5km running event held every Saturday at 9am.. It’s a 5km course that’s open to everyone – whether you’re running, jogging, walking, or plodding. It’s all about getting active in a supportive environment!
How Can I Get Involved?
- Sign Up: Register for free on the ParkRun website to receive your personal barcode. This takes just a few minutes.
- Attend the Event: Show up on Saturday, barcode in hand, and take part – there’s no pressure, just fun and fitness!
- Track Your Progress: Your barcode will be scanned at the end of the event, logging your time and counting how many ParkRuns you’ve completed.
Not ready for 5km? No worries! Volunteering at ParkRun is a great way to get involved and enjoy the fresh air while supporting others. Or if you need some advice on how to get running, the NHS “Couch to 5k” plan is free and easy to follow.
Where is the Wetherby ParkRun?
