We are a five-partner, semi-rural practice, set in the attractive market town of Wetherby. The practice serves 12,000 patients and is housed in modern purpose-built premises with all the usual facilities for contemporary General Practice, including wheelchair access and a lift.

 

Crossley Street follows the Modern general practice model and is a total triage practice, utilising SystmOne and AccuRx. As part of the Wetherby PCN, we have access to a range of ARRS roles staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, care coordinators, and occupational therapists. We also have a paramedic who carries out home visits and an advanced paramedic who sees patients at the practice.

 

In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion. In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
